Lab Practicum

What started off as a completely different project, slowly morphed into a tribute to the video game Half-Life 2. I had a lot of fun taking different elements and combining them into one cohesive animation, that I think tells a little mysterious and yet peacefully somber story. The title is in reference to the song that plays; and I see the animation as a sort of moving painting/music video. There were over 35 separate elements that came together to create the final composition: waves, clouds, fog, mountains. I learned some new tricks to speed up my workflow, and some lessons about how to channel my creative energy along the way. Overall, Iā€™m satisfied with my little project, and excited to see where I go next.
